Empowering voices through speech, song, and neuroaffirmative support for parents and kids alike.

About Sarah

Hey, I’m Sarah! I’m a speech-language pathologist, neurodivergent mom, and the heart behind Hey Sarah Sweeney. My mission is simple: to blend entertainment, education, empathy, and empowerment for women—especially parents raising neurodiverse kids.

Rooted in a connection-first, neurodiversity-affirming approach, I bring together my clinical background in speech, language, and feeding with my lived experience as a woman with ADHD.

Around here, we keep things real, human, and hopeful. You’ll find calm, child-led strategies for communication and regulation, compassionate coaching for parents, and honest stories that remind you you’re not alone.

My favorite topics to explore include:

  • ADHD in women and girls

  • Early speech and language development (ages 1–5)

  • Parenting with curiosity and compassion

  • The behind-the-scenes balance of business, motherhood, and messy real life

Through accessible resources, coaching, and soon, books and a podcast, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and confident—because both you and your child deserve to feel good and grow together.

This space is playful, open, bright, honest, and hope-filled. Whether you’re here to learn, laugh, or simply take a deep breath, I’m so glad you found your way here.
